The employee may be required work other than normal duty hours, overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

The employee must obtain and maintain Secret security clearance for the position.



Must be at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband (NJ-02), equivalent to the next to lower grade (GS-08) or equivalent in the Federal Service.Specialized experience must include must include developing goals and objectives.Researching, interpreting, analyzing and applying appropriate laws, guidelines, policies and regulations.Providing advice, counseling, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.Hearing and resolving complaints from employees.

Establishing metrics and analyzing systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points.Performing special projects and assignments.This experience must have been at a level of difficulty and complexity sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of this position.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

1. Knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support.

2. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium sized organization.

4. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options.

5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.

6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.


Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i. e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e. g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
